Russian Venture Fair for the first time will be held in Novosibirsk
On December 10, Vasily Yurchenko, the Novosibirsk Oblast Governor hold a business meeting with Albina Nikkonen, executive Director of Russian Venture Capital Association.
By the results of the meeting, an engagement on carrying out the 14th Russian Venture Fair in Novosibirsk in September 2013 was entered. The central annual event for the participants of Russian private equity and venture capital market will be conducted in the region at the grounds of "Novosibirsk Expocenter". The representatives of major industrial enterprises, expert community, small innovative firms, institutes of higher education, scientific institutes will be attracted to participate in it.
Albina Nikkonen underlined, that "the key condition for formation of innovation economics in Russia – is creation of favorable environment for doing business and attracting investments. For its part, Venture Fair has become within these years an authoritative and popular discussion ground aimed at forming and strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation between investment community and culturati".
For preparation and conducting the Russian Venture Fair in Novosibirsk a special organizing committee will be created, and its work will be coordinated by Deputy Governor Andrei Ksenzov.
