In Krasnoyarsk, an expert meeting was conducted with the representatives of companies-participants of the First Yenisei Venture Fair
On the threshold of the First Yenisei Venture Fair that starts working on February 15 in the context of Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum, an expert meeting was conducted with the representatives of the exhibitor companies.
Within the meeting framework, venture capital experts and specialists discussed with representatives of the companies, exhibiting their business at the Yenisei Venture Fair exposition, the issues of venture capital attraction, the peculiarities of forming relations with individual and institutional venture investors, the nuances of small and medium capitalization companies’ work with the large and medium-sized business.
In the meeting participated: Igor Gladkikh, Executive Director of The Saint Petersburg Regional Foundation for Scientific and Technological Development, Director of Russian Venture Fair; Svjatoslav Sedov, Director on business development, Board member of IPOboard JSC; Evgeny Evdokimov, Managing Director of infrastructure projects and educational programs of “Rusnano”; Vitalii Vinogradov, Director, The Higher School of Economics (HSE) Venture Investment Fund.
During the meeting, the effective presentation of projects to investors, appropriate grounding of the investments required, protection of intellectual property, and creating constructive dialog between entrepreneur and investor were discussed.
“It’s important not only to present your product, – underlined Igor Gladkikh, – very important is to convince an investor of superior attractiveness for prospected consumer just of your product, that secures sales; and of the company’s team ability to realize the project by overcoming possible obstacles in the future, that provides the opportunities of profitable exit for investor”.
It’s appropriate to summarize the meeting by one of the participants’ statement: “Until you personally – as the company owners – start actively work for success, no one does it instead of you. Real ticket to success – is solely action!”
In conclusion of the meeting, the experts wished success to the Fair exhibitor companies and expressed hope that “… the efforts wouldn’t be lost and finally will result in reaching the target of attracting funds for project development”.
